How to Send Bulk WhatsApp Messages with WASender

How to Send Bulk WhatsApp Messages with WASender

Prepare a CSV or contact group, connect your WhatsApp device and review a bulk message before sending it with WASender Online.

Watch the workflow guide: Bulk WhatsApp messaging workflow guide (about one minute).

Before you start

Sign in to WASender Online and check that your plan includes enough messages and connected devices for the job. Use a contact list of people who have agreed to hear from your business. Keep a small test list separate from your customer list.

This guide covers the plain-text bulk messaging screen. A saved-template bulk message is a separate option. For the feature overview, see bulk WhatsApp messaging.

1. Connect the sending device

Create a device and connect it by scanning its QR code from WhatsApp on your phone. Wait for the connected status before preparing the message. Follow the QR connection guide if this is your first device.

2. Choose how to add recipients

Open the bulk message creation screen. You can use Import Contacts From CSV, select a saved Contact List, or use Add Record for a small set of numbers.

For CSV imports, select the sending number first, then download the sample from the import window. Keep its column names and structure. Save your spreadsheet as CSV, rather than uploading an Excel workbook. Treat phone numbers as text so that a spreadsheet does not remove country codes or change them into scientific notation. Never upload an unreviewed purchased list.

For saved contacts, choose the sending number and receiver group, enter the message and import the rows. For manual entry, supply the receiver numbers and the message in the Add Custom Row window. The screen supports comma-separated numbers.

3. Review the message and recipient rows

The preparation table shows the receiver, sending device, message and status. Check the country codes, remove unintended recipients and read the exact text that will be sent. The plain-text message field supports up to 1,000 characters. Include your business name and one clear next step.

The Start and End controls set the interval between messages. An interval does not guarantee delivery or prevent account restrictions. Message relevance, customer permission and platform requirements still matter.

4. Test before sending to customers

Send a small test to numbers you control. Check that the message reads correctly on a phone, links work and the correct device is selected. Once satisfied, prepare the intended customer rows and use Send Now. Keep the page open while the browser-based sending process runs.

5. Check the outcome

Review each row status and the Messages Log. A send attempt is not proof that a person read the message. If rows fail, check the device connection, phone-number format and plan allowance before retrying only the affected recipients.

Common questions

Can I upload an Excel file? Export it as CSV and follow the sample supplied by the import window. Can I schedule instead? Use the separate scheduling workflow for a contact group.

Compare WASender plans and trial availability, or use the message examples to draft clearer text. Respect opt-out requests and remove those recipients from later campaigns.
